The last week before SSC CPO Paper I is not for learning; it is for arriving at the exam with what you already know in good order. SSC's corrigendum of 26 October 2026 puts Paper I on 23 to 28 November 2026 (proposed). If your shift is on Monday 23 November, your last week runs from Monday 16 to Sunday 22 November; if it is later, move every day in this plan forward by the same number of days.

The plan, day by day

Day Main task Time
Monday 16 November Full mock under the real timers, then analysis 2 hours
Tuesday 17 November Repair the two weakest topics from Monday's mock 3 hours
Wednesday 18 November Full mock, analysis; GK notes 2.5 hours
Thursday 19 November Formula sheet, grammar rules, mistake notebook 3 hours
Friday 20 November Admit card check; one part at a time (25 questions, 15 minutes) 2 hours
Saturday 21 November Light revision of notes; vocabulary and current affairs 2 hours
Sunday 22 November Rest; documents ready; sleep early 1 hour

Mocks: two, not seven

Two full mocks in the last week are enough: Monday and Wednesday, at the time of day your shift is likely to be. More mocks late in the week tire you out, and a bad score two days before the exam does more harm to your confidence than good to your preparation. Use the SSC CPO mock tests you have not sat yet; the later tests are harder, which is good practice.

What to revise

  • Quant: one formula sheet (see SSC CPO maths formulas), and five quick questions from each arithmetic topic.
  • Reasoning: one set each of coding, series, syllogism and arrangement, to keep your speed.
  • General Awareness: your one-line notes only. Do not open a new book.
  • English: your grammar rules list and the words you have collected. See SSC CPO English grammar rules.
  • Your mistake notebook: read it twice. These are the marks you have already lost once.

The admit card and the documents

SSC's notice says admission certificates are made available 2 to 3 days before the exam on its website. For a 23 November shift that means about 20 or 21 November. When you download it:

  • check your name, photo, roll number, date, shift and centre address;
  • note the reporting time; candidates who have not done Aadhaar-based authentication must report two hours before the exam;
  • keep ready an original photo ID with your date of birth as printed on the admit card, and two recent passport-size colour photographs.

Our SSC CPO final exam checklist lists everything to carry.

Look after the basics

  • Sleep at the same time every night this week, so the exam-day morning feels normal.
  • Visit the route to your centre if you can, or check the travel time.
  • Keep running two or three easy sessions this week: the physical test comes after Paper I for those who clear it.

On the day before

Revise for an hour at most, pack your documents, and sleep early. A rested mind answers more questions in 15 minutes than a tired one that read three more pages. The exam-day strategy covers the hour itself.

Frequently asked questions

Should I take a mock test the day before SSC CPO?

It is better not to. A light revision of notes and a good night's sleep help more. If you want to keep your speed, do one 25-question part under a 15-minute timer instead.

When will the SSC CPO 2026 admit card come?

The notice says 2 to 3 days before the exam, on the SSC website. With Paper I proposed for 23 to 28 November 2026, the first admit cards should appear around 20 to 21 November.

What if I have not finished the syllabus?

In the last week, leave it. Revise what you know well, so that you lose fewer marks there. A topic learned in a hurry now is easily confused in the exam.
